Dr. Melanie Roth
Melanie grew up on a farm in southwestern Manitoba, and graduated with distinction from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 1991. She started her career in a mixed animal practice in Steinbach, Manitoba. After several years, Melanie moved to Winnipeg for a few years, working in small animal and emergency practice. In 1999 Dr. Roth moved to Indian Head and established the Indian Head Animal Clinic. Melanie provided veterinary care to both large and small animals until June 2011 when she retired from large animal practice to focus exclusively on veterinary medicine for pets. In her spare time, Melanie enjoys golfing, reading, fishing, travelling and gardening. She and her husband live on a farm near Indian Head. Her pet family consists of a Lab Retriever, a Border Collie, two Shih Tzus, A Miniature Schnauzer mix and one housecat, plus several barn cats.
